> XMAS TREE WRECKING BAUBLES 

2024 Concrete Xmas Tree Wrecking Baubles >> are back and available in sets of 3 for £30 including U.K. postage.

Each bauble is 4.5cm in diameter (golf ball size) cast in a range of concrete mixes from dark grey to snowcrete (all the festive greys) and sealed with a polished wax finish. Weighing approx 95 grams they hang perfectly on Xmas trees.

To purchase simply fill in the above form and I will reply with payment details. Orders will be sent out within a week. Postage to Europe and the rest of the world is an extra £7.50 AND there could be an additional customs import tax on non UK orders (SORRY)….

> FLATLAND SQUARES

Relief sculptures cast in plaster, Jesmonite and concrete mixed with metal fillers that form the rust colours and surface patinas. Each work is presented in an off-white Jesmonite cast frame 25x25 cm and hang easily on any wall > £180 + P&P each. 
These works are from an ongoing body of wall hanging relief sculptures cast from compositions of circuitboards titled Flatland Series. These small individual squares are reminiscent of our decaying urban landscape architecturally formed from obsolete computers parts found in the streets around the artist’s city studio. With reference to science fiction, technological failure, and future fossils, as architectural miniatures when seen from above the works appear like a gridded block from a nowhere town. On mass the visibly repeating forms cast from the same moulds create an underlying formal familiarity that is camouflaged by each uniquely aesthetic facade created by the metal powders added into the casting composites and allowed to decay.

Each work is unique and made to be displayed either on mass as part of a large installation, or available as singular pieces for £180 + P&P each. ​


> JELLY MOULDS - FRAMED RELIEF CASTS
​To help me fund making the big ones…. I’m producing a set of small jellyfish reliefs as limited edition framed works available from my london studio. Cast in Jesmonite and beach sand. Dimensions 24 x 24 x 4cm​ framed and hangs on a wall like any picture. 

Last summer I spent some time beach plaster casting the large dead jellyfish washed up on a Welsh shore. Out of their natural marine habitat and seen up close slumped on land, jellyfish are amazingly alien in form, and a beautifully viscous material to make moulds from! This will become a substantial body of sculptural work when I have the funds and a venue to exhibit.

> GOLDFINGER - SCULPTURAL MULTIPLE


​24 Carat Gold Leaf sculptural multiple of a Birdseye fish finger. My Grandfather was a carpenter and for much of his life worked in a factory making picture frame moulding. Gold Fingers are cast in Jesmonite and made from a box of gold leaf he left to me when he died.

> SPIDERS FROM MARS - RELIEF CASTS ​
Relief sculptures cast in plaster with a Jesmonite cast frame. Some works in this series are available directly from my studio on request. Each circular work is 32cm in diameter x 4cm depth and come with a wall hanging bracket and a spider plant. 
An ongoing series of relief sculptures made from a collection of spider plant off-shoots that I started growing during lockdown 2020.... Each work is unique, cast in plaster by directly imprinting the young rooting houseplants into clay to make the mould, which is then cast in plaster, and framed in a bespoke Jesmonite clay cast frame. The familiar but subverted domestic organisms act as a window into an upside-down world where the root systems and fragile specimen like aesthetics appear almost as alien forms. For me, messing around with plants in my flat was an important lockdown activity and a much needed escapism from the covid and political horrors that unravelled in the UK. Spending some quiet time focussing on hands-on and low-budget making in an attempt to process everything seemed an important thing to do.  

> DATA BLOCKS

A grid of 100 individual relief sculptures cast from a collection of floppy disks discarded from a city of London office. The texture and surface detail of each piece is formed by casting concrete directly onto floppy disks themselves making each one unique. The data within the obsolete disk will forever remain a mystery as it's content is destroyed by the casting process, but the fine detail of the concrete picks up a trace of the labels, hints of pen marks and sometimes even finger prints of the previous user from the plastic facade.

Each disk is presented in a white Jesmonite tray frame and Individual works are available for £75 + P&P. dimensions 12 x 12 x 3cm ​

> EARWORMS > FRAMED CONCRETE CAST LIMITED EDITIONS

Broken headphones pressed into clay, moulded and cast into playful relief drawings in concrete… part fossil part fantasy… 


Earworms are a series of 9 limited edition concrete relief works. Each work comes framed and ready to hang on the wall.

Available in both grey and charcoal concrete for £120 each + p & p
Dimensions (including frame) 24 x 24 x 4cm, each work comes with a french cleat hanging bracket. 

Earworms can also be purchased as sets of concrete tiles (unframed) and tessellated together on mass. Each tile is hand cast grey and charcoal concrete 20x20cm x approx 2cm. Earworm tiles can be adhered to walls / suitable for inside and outside installation. 

Individual tiles are available for £75, a set of all 9 for £450, larger quantities and commissions are available on request. 

> SQUIDDY

Pleased to offer this new work in my Spiders From Mars series. Concrete cast relief sculpture presented in a white painted tray frame 28x28x4cm > Edition of 8 @ £200 + p&p (6 available)

​A new series of relief sculptures made from a collection of spider plant off-shoots which I grew during lockdown in 2020. For this piece I first made a plaster original cast by directly imprinting the rooting houseplant into clay before producing a silicone mould to cast a limited edition in concrete.

The familiar but subverted domestic organism acts as a window into an upside-down world where the root systems and fragile specimen like aesthetics appear almost alien form. I'd also recently rewatched the 1999 Matrix film and this reminded me of the 'squiddy'  Sentinels.

> CORRUGATED COLUMN LAMPS


Concrete column lamp bases, cast concrete made in crumpled cardboard moulds using the corrugated packaging and delivery materials in my studio - which makes each lamp base unique.

Lamp bases are available now, made to order in 5 different heights > 10cm @ £45 / 15cm @ £55 / 20cm @ £65 / 25cm @ £75 / 30cm @ £85 or available as sets and multiples. UK postage is an additional £10-15. Each lamp base has a standard E27 screw thread lamp head, woven cord (red or black), switch and plug. The electrics are purchased as a pre made kit and simply installed into the base - so no home made wiring!

Bulbs are not included - recommend a low watt / diffused bulb The concrete is sealed, with a polished top and the base has a thin layer of felt protection. 

> ROBOT BIN THINGS

Concrete cast multiples created with moulds made from discarded consumer tech packaging - each Robot is an edition of 18 and available to purchase > individual price in caption (does not include p&p)

> FLOAT ON A ROPE - CONCRETE DOOR STOPS


​The Doorstops are cast in several shades of concrete using silicone moulds of 'swimming pool safety floats on a rope' discarded from Deptford Leisure Centre, bite marks and all...

> REMNANT POTS

Vessels are produced ad hoc from the left over concrete and packing materials from casting projects in my studio. The exterior of each pot is cast directly from packing materials like corrugated cardboard, plastic wrap and bubble, forming a unique and ever evolving range of surface textures. 

Two standard internal pot sizes are available:

> Large: 15.5 cm diameter £45

All pots are finished with concrete sealer and suitable for both interior and exterior use.
