> FLATLAND SERIES
A series of concrete cast wall hanging relief sculptures in a range of geometric shapes. Made from singular compositions of discarded circuit boards which then are silicone moulded and cast in concrete to create tessellating and repeating component surfaces. The works are loosely inspired by a combination of growing up watching 80s science fiction films to discovering 'Flatland: A Romance of Many Dimensions' a satirical novella by the English schoolmaster Edwin A. Abbott - first published in 1884 by Seeley & Co. of London.
Works in this series range from single tile like multiples and geometric shapes presented in white tray frames to large scale installations installed as tiles directly to a surface or site. Several works are available, and please email for commissions.
